BIOGRAPHY

KNAGUI was born on September 22 in York, Pennsylvania. Heavily influenced by his family and church, he seemingly has always been a musician. Singing at the tender age of three (3) years old and picking out melodies on the piano at age four (4), he was destined to be someone great.

William Penn Senior High School’s music department is where KNAGUI was introduced to many forms and genres of music outside of Gospel, and although he absorbed as much as he possibly could his heart maintained its’ affection for Christ based music.

Soon KNAGUI was blessed to have many doors opened for him as a producer and vocal clinician in the Tri-County area. This experience was the catalyst of what would become driving force behind KNAGUI’s idea of presenting a professional ministry.

Upon graduating high school, KNAGUI moved to the Washington DC area to further pursue his musical endeavors. While in DC, KNAGUI would attend jam sessions in the company of artist and musicians like Chris Dave, Kenny Latimore, Sean “P-Diddy” Combs, MeShell Ndegéocello, DC Talk, and John P. Kee. He has written, composed, and produced on several projects including his debut album “The Meaning of Love.”

After a brief stay in DC, KNAGUI entered Jarvis Christian College in Hawkins, Texas where he earned a BS in Music Education. He is an elementary school teacher, a member of Christian Chapel CME Church in Dallas Texas, a member of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Incorporated. As a composer, singer, producer, teacher, and musician, KNAGUI is spreading the gospel with his new CD, “The Meaning of Love.”
